Day 1 – Module 1 – 18 November 2021 – 9.30 am –  3.00 pm – Planning effective teaching  sequences for fiction in Year 2 and statutory assessment overview (once this is clear)

During this day, we will work through a teaching sequence that is customised to meet the specific needs of this year group. Using quality texts, we will identify precisely what to teach and practise especially in reading, spelling, punctuation, grammar and writing, so that children are both engaged and adequately prepared, for the end of KS1 tests and assessments.

There will be a free copy of a quality fiction text – Orion and the Dark for all  attendees.
